Position Description Atlanta Walk For Animals Volunteers Wanted & Needed 
Dates Available: Oct 8th, 2005 but also before and after event
Shifts:  6 hour shifts day of event
Location Grant Park
Training Required:  Orientation Meeting
Jobs
Route Marking Assist in hanging route signs the night before the event to guide the walkers.
Registration Greet, meet and sign-in thousands of walkers and send them on their way. Collect their pledges and show your appreciation
Team Table Welcome Walk Teams to the start lines. A perfect job for a family or group of friends.
Road Marshals Help walkers get through the intersections safely.
Photographers Photographers are needed for taking team photos
Medical Use your Red Cross training! Assist tired or injured walkers. Must be first-aid certified.
Bike Monitors Monitor the Walk Route , helping tired or injured walkers
Course Monitors Monitor any street crossings along the walk route. Cheer walkers as they pass.
Clean- Up Crew At the end of the event help teardown and clean up. Make a quick sweep of the Walk route to make sure signs and garbage are picked up.
Rest Stops Help refresh walkers with snacks and beverages. Assist with set-up and clean up as necessary. Fun for the entire family!
Site Set-Up Set up registration, food tables, and hang banners and balloons
Volunteer Check-In Greeting Volunteers and check them in.
Supervisors Take charge people are needed to supervise groups of volunteers. Supervisors are needed at the Finish lines, Rest Stops, Food Stations, Registration & Team Table. Step up to the challenge!
Office Volunteers Be behind the scenes. Help in our office during the weeks before the event making sure all the papers and supplies are organized and ready to go.  Or support us in the office directly after the event to ensure our follow-up and end of event processing goes smoothly
