Project CatSnip New 2003 Spaymobile

The Atlanta Animal Alliance took delivery on November 20th of our new mobile surgical suite. The state-of-the-art vehicle is 30 feet long and sits on a Ford E 550 chassis. It is fully equipped as a modern medical clinic with equipment that includes a separate surgical suite with a heated surgical table, surgery light, 2 anesthesia machines with oxygen, prep table and sink with hot and cold running water, autoclave, scavenger system and 39 cages to provide comfort and a disease free environment for cats under our care.

The side graphics are Helix the Cat created especially for CatSnip by local artist Carolyn Ritter. The helix contain kittens that represent the breeding potential of just one cat.

The vehicle cost approximately $150,000. Currently it is mostly owned by the bank. Donations would be greatly appreciated to help pay for it.
