Full-Time Program Manager

                                 Job Description
MISSION

The mission of Project CatSnip is to end the tragedy of dog and cat overpopulation by providing high quality, affordable and accessible cat sterilization. Our state-of-the-art mobile facility maintains high standards of medical excellence administered by our professional, knowledgeable and caring staff.

SUMMARY

The Program Manager position provides a vital link between program administration and effective operations. The program manager must communicate between our clients and program operations. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining spay-neuter clinics and building relationships with clients, sponsors and promoters. The incumbent works with the president and medical director to ensure clinic success through effective scheduling, promotion, reservations and attendance. Overall customer satisfaction is our goal. The CatSnip Project Manager is a key member of the management team and coordinates with staff to insure all-around excellence in medical sterilization and client satisfaction. 

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Successful delivery of Project CatSnip’s feline spay-neuter services

·         Manages the scheduling of clinics to include coordination with sponsors, marketing, public relations and communications.

·         Identifies techniques and strategies for forging and maintaining strong animal community support, sponsors and relationships.

·         Provides, monitors and maintains an effective reservation system

·         Ensures reservation compliance through a system of confirmation calls and or emails

·         Communicates clearly and effectively through a variety of mediums with clients to include phone, web site and email systems.

·         Manages and maintains a controlled drug log.

·         Manages the trap rental program

·         Recruits and effectively utilizes volunteers

·         Maintains office cleanliness and order

·         Manages multiple tasks and priorities for maximum personal and organizational success.

·         Provides professional input and advice regarding surveys and related information gathering and measurement tools.

·         Knowledge of CatSnip’s medical operations and the ability to fill in should the need arise. It is necessary to have the knowledge to process paperwork, to restrain cats, and to assist with other medical assistance as required.

·         The ability to drive our mobile surgical unit with a valid Georgia license.

 Technical Knowledge and Professional Skills -

·         Organization

·         Excellent computer skills in current computer technology and related software programs including MSWord, QuickBooks, Powerpoint and database management software.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills, including document production and editing

·         Demonstrated ability to openly and respectfully communicate in a way that promotes understanding in both written and verbal communication.

·         Able to frame critical issues in a manner that facilitates informed decision making and is able to make sound recommendations.

·         Excellent customer relations and client management skills.

·         Excellent motivation and time management skills.

·         Knowledge of nonprofit animal welfare groups.
